Generally..
Sales are placed on items that
1. Are being cleared out for new models
2. Don't move from the inventory fast enough.
3. For some reason or another a company screwed up and over ordered a rediculous amount which the company doesn't have space for storage which leads to a reduced price to move the inventory at a faster than normal speed.

Which of these would Apple be guilty of?

So to answer your question, Apple products never go on sale, because they have no need of them.
