Kinda sorta...
1.) EM64T is damn near a direct copy of AMD64. It's the CPU architecture on which it is implemented that determines it's performance in a 64-bit or 32-bit environment. I might add, most things are still done in 32-bit mode these days.

2.) Read this and see the Turion consume more power and deliver less performance (I digress... it gives good numbers in sciencemark).

3.) TechReport and Anandtech arrived at the same conclusion: The Pentium M was more than capable of making use of added memory bandwidth.

As Anandtech stated on their own, "As a mobile processor, the Pentium M cannot be beat..." and benchmarks seem to show this. Mix and match, the Pentium M wins some, and loses some, but overall comes out with higher battery life -- a striking issue of importance to most laptop users.

In addition, Yonah, Intel's dual core Pentium M brother is to debut in January, promising equally low voltages with significantly faster performance (in multithreaded apps).

Don't get me wrong, AMD has a fine processor architecture going. The K8 architecture is truly impressive, they came out with a winner that will go down in computing history with much more reverance than Prescott... I'm just saying that Intel isn't lollying around waiting for AMD to kill them. The Pentium M's a good processor.
