Compared to XP Home and XP Pro.
You tell me about confusion and about software that doesn't run right on each version.
And...also please don't be upset by 2 flavors of the OS from 2001. If you are at home, you only need features on XP Home. But if you are in a business, there will be more features (that will create more vulnerabilities) that your IT staff will have to lock down.
