Holy cow!
So much for the thought that the Intel announcement would kill
PPC based Mac sales for the next year (1.236 million Macintosh
systems for the quarter-- 48 percent growth from the same
quarter last year).

And for those who are going to make the same tired comments
about all of Apple's money coming from iPods and how they're
not a computer company any more, note this:
"Apple reports that $1.212 billion of the quarter's $3.678 billion
in revenue was the result of iPod sales."
Unless I'm doing my math wrong, I'd say they're making most of
their money off software and hardware, and not music and
iPods.
