Nice try. Used to be a Microsoft Shill. Then I got some experience with Linux and OSX and saw how much better things really could be without all the BS of Windows.

No registry, just simple XML files for configs that you can look at and delete if an app goes crazy.

Self contained apps that don't write DLL's everywhere.

An OS that isn't tied to a poor rendering engine.

I could go on and on. But the simple fact remains - I used to have a blind alegience to all MS. Then I saw the other side of things and it just made sense and saw how much better it is.

I've never liked Dell. Their machines always seemed slow and overpriced. That's right - compare Dell to just about everyone else and you'll see Dell is rarely the cheapest. And they always "felt" slower than other similar machines.

Their business practices of de-contenting machines also turned me off.
