There is ONLY one Personal Computer vendor who
regularly gets high profit margins on sales and that has been
Apple and until Dell makes a go of it will be Apple for the
forseeable future.

For years now everytime Apple brings out a new form factor Dell
is right there with her engineers...I'm meen photo copiers and
office clerks and comes out with a poor imitation...see DJ for
latest attempt/failure.

Now as a final point for YEARS I've been saying that Dell would
sooner or later be a victim of her own success....and that is
begining to take shape. Dell MUST change direction or the
success that made her number one will mean that Dell herself
will be like a snake devouring herself but biting and swallowing
her tail and continuing.

Dell is mearly a PC vendor using for the very most part Windows.
In the end there is nothing unique or special about a Dell...call it
luxury if you will but in the end when all is said and done it's a
plain Jane computer. Now even when Apple puts Intels into her
computers she will still have OSX that alone makes her unique
and special. Not too mention all the fine Apple apps included
with every sale. Oh and one more thing...Apple actually has real
engineers and designers working hand in hand to make
something with form and function.
