So what do you do?
My point is that in my opinion, this is a stupid move, one that
hurts business. That's all I'm trying to say.

Can't find it, let me know which one it was. I'm guessing that in
a case like that one, a company would decide to turn off IM for
its cel phones, making them less attractive to new customers,
and annoying customers who were used to that functionality.
Again, not a good business move.
