Buy a case
That would make sense except that its supposed to be a very small, portable music player. Telling people to buy a case to protect something that is supposed to be portable and hence durable is Apple's way of stepping away from the plate.

In other words, spend more money to get the product you expected. Sounds like a Microsoft ploy.
