- Reasons I quit
-
Mainly because they hardwired the batteries, into the unit. I refuse to buy a whole new $500+ unit when the batteries finally die. After all, I don't have $500 to throw away every 6 months, who does? But also the idea of color screens (big battery drain), and also a big thing; wireless only works in 300 cities? Please! Don't reinvent the wheel, just put it on cell phone services, and go from there.
I don't like the idea of Windows on palms now, but that was another big gripe I had. I couldn't pick up my mail from something OTHER than Outlook express. I never used (and never will) use that virus breeder, so that was another thing that ended my use.
The biggest problem however came from it's fragility. It couldn't survive a drop from a meter to a hard ground.
I may come back, but I prefer something like a $50 Casio with basic features anymore. We'll have to see.
