If they are going to patent the location
of existing technology, can't they at least be creative?

I would patent a camera in the logo on the lid of the laptop, and display its output in the root window ('desktop' in Windows-ese). Now you have a see-through laptop!!

Note that I am saving the link to this post for use in court later when MS sells 'their' idea to Dell. wink
