thank you
"I can't watch any broadcast programming today; it's too glossy, unimaginative, and shamelessly crude while "critics" have the vain audacity to call it "outrageously funny"."

Yup, exactly like what mainstream "news" has blatantly become. Only rejects watch CNN, ABC, NBC "news" and actually believe anything that is said.

"I spend most of my time with my photography, READING, spirituality, my friends, family.."

It's funny you say that. I have gotten back into a lot more reading lately. What I like most about it is it wakes my mind up from its slumber, makes me think (and think about real issues too!), and lets my mind expand and grow. TV is for lazy brainless rejects, newspapers and magazines are for twits and gossipers and the propagandized.
No one of any substance watches a lot of TV or reads mainstream "news" anymore. It's become a leftover cesspool for the mindless and ignorant that still believe in the patsy ghost of bin Laden, Al-Qaqa, "spreading democracy", etc..
