No, it's not for the Xbox.

But what has Apple got to do with any of this? As far as anything mice-related, Apple is years behind MS. MS released multi-button mice decades before Apple. MS invented and released a mouse with a scrollwheel, and later a side-to-side clicking scrollwheel. And MS also was 1st to release an optical mouse (the kind that points a CCD camera directly onto the desktop). Remember the Apple adds on TV with the optical mouse zooming across the screen? Almost as if Apple invented something...

And now Apple's Mickey Mouse. Yea they added a tiny trackball which is simply an evolutionary step to what MS already invented.

BTW, I have one of the Logitech MX1000 mice (actually sitting, unused, in a drawer over here) and my conclusion is that it's not a great mouse. For one thing it is VERY picky about what surface you use it on (contrary to it's marketing hype). In fact I could never find a mouse surface that combined both smoothness and accuracy. Anything other than a few types of surfaces caused it to become jumpy when you moved it. Also it's quite heavy, making fast game-reactions more difficult. And lift it up a fraction of an inch from the surface to move over when you run out of space, and it needs about a second to start responding again after you put it down again. Not good at all for true gamers.
