sure for the same price as new PC
Slight exaggeration there but it got your attention. Still the price of an upgrade to XP from W2K is a waste of money today. Surely buying a PC today with XP when you can get it a year later with Vista is silly. Only if your current PC has bit the big one would this be a viable option.

Why waste the money? I say the same about the Mac Mini today. Unless of course you don't care about the new software. Of course even in Apple abandons the support there is always Linux or sticking with the unsupported. Just like running Window 98 SE on that old box because it won't run XP and having no support.
