Who will know?
It's gret that they are offering the test drive, but really, who's
going to know? Not the budget windows users they're targeting.
If they'd do some advertising (print & TV) they might do better in
selling them. Many people I talk to have never even heard of the
mini, which is really a shame.

As far as the mini being a deal, you have to remember that those
cheap Dells come with XP Home edition, which is hardly
adequate for anything beyond surfing the web. And from what I
understand Vista will require that the machine it runs on not
have shared RAM for the video, which means you can forget
about upgrading to Microsoft's new OS. Meanwhile I've got
Apple's Tiger running on my sister's 5 year old 450 Mhz iMac.
