I think you need to check back a little further
The interface of the iPod, was taken from a small program called
Sound Jam from Cassidy and Greene. Apple bought the rights to
Sound Jam and then went and hired the programmer. Sound Jam
then became iTunes. Are you getting the drift? As far as hierarchal
menus, they are a real old item in terms of computers. Look at the
file systems in Unix for an example. This patent looks like a
company that can't compete and is trying to pull a Microsoft...
