I agree. Not to mention, didn't Apple get one for the same foolish thing.
It's totally nuts that such patents are given out.
Is the patent office even reading these things.
I saw that one of my ex's brothers tried to patent, "selling banner ads over the internet". That was rejected, but I think he figured he could slide it past the patent office.
I'm pretty sure Apple has a similar patent as shown here:

Not to mention both are truly obvious, and have prior art.
