That is the main limitation of Bluetooth. That and the seven maximum connections. Bluetooth has a bandwidth of 723 kilobits per second, which is about 88 kilobytes per second. Not to mention the overhead required by the system. Realistically, you would get about 50Kb bandwidth from BT...

Now Bluetooth Specification 2.0 is promising transfer rates of up to 12 megabit per second, with pretty much the same ranges and security measures that BTS1.1 contains.

Ultimately, WUSB is a good direction, but I enjoy the fact that a lot of my current USB devices are powered by the hub... something WUSB can't offer. Find another power strip or make sure the batteries are charged up in order to use a WUSB device.
