As long as Blizzard is upfront about its actions
it's on the gamer to or not to install that party's software on their own system. Is it over reaching by Blizzard, does it smack of Big Brother, is it a bad state of gaming today, yes, and a lot of cheaters helped bring it about, much like the steaming pile of pile that is the Steam Engine. You can blame Blizzard, and you can blame the cheaters and the pirates, today is a byproduct of part corporate greed and part individuals greed, some want money, some want control, some what mischief and others to advance to level twenty and beyond. Like drugs and foreign brothels, just say no. It may be easier to get a refund from one than the other.
