Its all in the eye of the beholder ...
There ARE people out there who happen to LIKE Palm OS. Quite frankly, I believe a HARDWARE vendor serves ITSELF best when it offers the widest possible range of software solutions INCLUDING Windows. If that kills off Palm OS, so be it. A product that cannot withstand the light of day deserves to perish. Trying to protect certain products by establishing artificial constraints only works to the detrement of the vendor in question in the long term. Personally, I think Palm OS has enough adherants to hang on, at least for a while. In the mean time, Palm can add to their sales significantly by adding Windows on Palm hardware. Competition is good! Let it rip!
