Have you ever used a Windows Mobile device?
I would guess not based on your comment. I have a Windows Mobile Smartphone (iMate SP3) and love it. It's easy to use, fast and has been 100% reliable. It syncs easily over the air with my work email, calendar and contacts. It has a browser that works find but browsing on such a small screen isn't particuarly useful. I have a large number of applications designed for it incluidng a neat traffic flow update application. It has a good media player and, with my 512 MG mini SD card I can store a lot of music on it (no need for an iPOD for another $400).

Try one. You might like it.
