TiVo hints at future enhancements

Here, Here!: I finally disconnected by DirecTV/TiVo box and reconnected by Series2 TiVo.

I grew tired of DirecTV failing to fully integrate the TiVo platform into their system. From network connectivity via USB to TiVoToGo, DirecTV is overlooking a partnership that has yielded them a pretty loyal customer base...I know many who believed that TiVo was ONLY available with DirecTV and, as a result, chose DirecTV over DISH, cable, etc.

I don't miss the MUCH larger hard drive and cool integration with the DirecTV menu system since the TiVo DVR technology is the coolest part of my DirecTV system. I do wish I could get the president of DirecTV online to re-read that last sentence.

DirecTV is not THAT groudbreaking...I can get the same (or better) programming from DISH or my cable company. (And, in both cases, cheaper.)
