Nope, I've seen it

A friend of mine worked there when he got a pink slip. He worked there for a grand total of 3 months before ditching that job. They pay minimum wage but give you just enough hours to keep under the Welfare minimums.

This is not something happens to all the employees but a good number of them fall into this situation.

My friend was in that situation for a few weeks till he volunteered for the night shift stocking job where you had to strong enough to lift a 36" CRT TV to the top sheft (15') using a step ladder.
