Greed vs reality.
Walmart employees are given welfare brochures when they sign up. They are not paid enough to be disqualified for welfare. How is walmart doing any good there?

And then there's the fact it drives local companies out of business, and is the largest factor in the wholesale exporting of our ability-to-do-things to China...
