I had an MP3 player back in 1999
It was much smaller than the IPOD and lighter too. What it lacked was space as it only 16 MBs and it was slow to load as it used a serial connection.

Apple's got a good product as is. Video would be nice but only if it's a video out. I like the idea of taking an IPod like device and plugging it into the video jacks at the front of most TVs and showing video.

Another thing. Does the IPOD support a remote? Can I hook the IPOD up to my home theatre reviever to play music? I haven't looked into it but if the IPOD did this I'd buy one in the near future.
