Only Apple can mess up success with Ipod
All the kiddies want Ipods because its what they think is cool. Doesn't matter if its more expensive, has less features, or breaks more easily than than the competition's device even if the listed things are true or not.

Nobody wants to admit that they drive a geo metro and nobody wants to admit they didn't get an Ipod.

People think that all portable music players are Ipods and anything not made by Apple is a knock off. Marketing rules, reality has nothing to do with it.
