Not sure how it will compete
Apple bashers like to remind us of the price of the Apple
products. For the same price as the Zen you can get the 60gb
iPod which the article points out is smaller and lighter. No the
iPod doesn't do video. Rumors are of course that video is on the
way for the iPod. I am still the skeptic, I do not want to watch my
movies on a tiny screen. If I had to watch a video in a portable
situation $150 buys a 5" screen DVD player. Or since most of us
on this forum already have laptops then there is always a 12" or
greater DVD player available. If Apple is left out in the cold and
the iPod is overtaken by video/mp3 players then I will admit I am
wrong but I have yet to see the reason that this should be the
case.
