Don't forget the cell phone.

Don't forget to throw in a cell phone. Or two.

Trouble is, there's already more convergence in that area than
people want. I'm still trying to figure out what possessed
Motorola to put a camera in my cell phone. I didn't want it, but
the only model they made with Bluetooth only comes with a
cheap, worthless digital camera in it. The pictures it takes are
worse than what you get from a security camera at a Seven-
Eleven, so I'll never use the damn thing, but there it is anyway,
and I paid for it.

I think Apple has the right formula. If you want to add a camera,
Bluetooth module, flashlight and laser pointer, FM transmitter,
FM tuner, microphone, extended battery pack, external
speakers, remote control, or whatever, you can just buy a third
party add-on accessory. If they tried to cram all that stuff into
an iPod, it wouldn't be an iPod, and it really looks like anything
that isn't an iPod is not what people are buying.
