"Free" trial now times out
The last time I downloaded a "trial" of WinZip, it timed out after the 30 day period and would not run. The old WinZip nagged you with a screen reminding you that this was an unlicensed copy, but it would still run, for years even after download. I downloaded a copy a few months ago and this is no longer the case. This must have happened before this latest buyout. Now that *.zip archive support is built into XP and MacOS, I really no longer need it unless I am working on an older OS (rarely).
