Clarification for Dr. T

I really have had a lot of fun with this silly banter between us. You apparently have also. So long as we keep each other laughing, the world is a better place.

As for the 6th grade diploma, 6th grade is elementary school. The statement I made was simply a joke, designed to make you laugh. Since English is obviously not your first language, you missed the joke. I do have a college diploma along with more than 30 years of actual business experience. I am NOT an IT specialist, though I supervise the IT staff at my company. I have vast experience in dealing with IT, though I will quickly admit that I do NOT have detailed technical knowledge. I do know, however, that MS products work for my company. We have had virtually no problems with the various malware offered up for MS systems because we keep our systems locked down and updated. Believe it or not, it is not a full time job to do that.

And just one last serious issue. It is obvious to me that your stance that MS is an immoral company clearly guides your analysis of their products. While MS products are flawed (as are all complex software products), they still generally get the job done. That is all I care about. I don't share your opinion about the immorality of the company. I believe they are fierce competitors in a competitive business climate. I just don't think that makes them immoral. I'll never convice you of that, nor will you convince me of your position, so let's leave it at that.
