Dell Service
I can say that Dell service continues to set new standards in horrendous customer tech support. My daughter's Inspiron has had over a half dozen tech requestes over the past 2 years (for basicaly the same thing). Each contact with Dell has been an adventure in frustration. Switched calls, repetion of the same information and redundant "user" testing, not to mention being disconnected over eight times while transferred from Dell main # to Customer Care to Tech. The unit had recently been sent to Dell for another motherboard replacement, it came back with memory problems. Tech had my daughter open the unit and remove/ reseat memeory boards - unit now inoperable - motherboard again (#4). Replace? Wait 2 days to hear back they say. Bottom line - Dell just doesn't have any consideration for the customer - totally inept, disorganized, dyfunctional.
