They must have gotten tired of people complaining about slow order and
poor service quality...

I ditched those nimrods 12 years ago because of their idiot of a tech who said there was "no problem" regarding a hard drive problem. (I had naturally backed everything up but he was either in the wrong field (technically obtuse) or going by a set of corporate-mandated rules (aka "just doing his job") - meaning he's a mindless sheep unworthy of anything, never mind a job) 2 days later, KAPUT. The drive died.

Meanwhile, for year after year, Dell continues to go around saying what great support it has.

Uh-huh.

I'd rather have brunch with a a diarrhetic elephant than to even contemplate using their overpriced junk ever again.
