Those laptops from the early to mid '90's
were, as I'm sure you remember, incredibly expensive, had little processing power and came with tiny hard drives and not much RAM unless you were willing to shell out BIG bucks for upgrades. They weren't much more than mobile word processors, and they weren't that mobile since you couldn't run them on their weakass NiCad batteries for very long.
We've come a long way.
