That's why I dumped Dell

The service issue. And I want to be able to order a PC with a non-Windows OS and choose between AMD and Intel, not have Dell making the choice for me. You can get that at the big customer level. If you want a custom image, they'll install it. But you poor consumer types don't get much of a choice. Well, I take that back. You can pick which printer you want. *snicker*

What we need now is an ATX-like standard for laptops so you can roll your own laptop hardware. Then I could read about Dell buyers needing to learn Hindi and laugh.
