Bad commercials
I think most of you have probably seen the TV ads that show college students watching movies and listening to music in class. To me that's sending the wrong message. If you've ever been in a college level chemistry or physics class you know how hard it is. It takes all the focus you can muster, not distracting yourself or the people behind you watching movies.

It also sends a message about what advertising people think college is: A big party you can slouch your way through watching movies in class. For communications majors that's probably true. For the rest of you, you'll need to put away the movies and really apply yourself.
