This story indicates that your choices are Apple or Microsoft. Clearly this is discrinimatory against open source software that could easily handle the needs of the student. The question that comes to mind is:" Are these universities being paid off to discriminate against open source software?"

Are there any investigatory reporters at ZDNET?
