Dud on two counts
OK, using more expensive Intel chips is a questionable move. But it's interesting that they include the 32 bit Windows OS in lieu of the 64 bit version. Must be that, in a machine targeted towards students, the customer "needs" all the additional DRM built into Media Center Edition.

Let's take a step back, manufacturers..... try providing us with a box and allow us to select the (full version) operating system we'd like to install--thus freeing us from the tyranny of a preinstalled version of Windows keyed to your brand of hardware. It could work.
