Where's the AMD version
They say it is for Students, yet they use the more expensive processor in the machine. I purchased a Gateway several years ago....when I could get an AMD CPU in the system rather than Intel. Maybe it because I like the "underdog", but I think it is more that I like the Price and Power AMD has ALWAYS provided (well...the 486 chip fiasco was the exception).
I would purchase a Gateway if I could get my choice of CPU. Not be stuck with the Intel branding and additional (excessive?) costs.
