Forget what they said. The REAL purpose
of the netport out the back is to prevent piracy and even making of legitimate duplicate personal copies.

If the disk you play is not on the machine that recorded it, or the one which initially played it, or heaven knows what they will want to control NEXT, then it will not play. They can even disable the pirate's machine permanently "For the good of the people."
