He stated patents suck because the crooks can steal the IP and get away with it. Just like a thief in real life can get away with stealing your jewels. More times it was upheld in the IP owners favor when infringing took place.
He stated trade secret laws are better protection then patents. Not true. He probably never gave corporate espionage a thought. Once the secret's out, the gig is up. Be careful of who you hire.
Then he says the state should get out of the act. You cannot protect private property with public coersion. The state is here to protect and serve. That coersion are our laws. All this boy wants is an IP free for all. Without the state involved, you cannot pursue him legally. Without laws we would have vigilantism. He would rather face the state than an angry mob. I stand by my original post.
