Nothing new here
Samsung and Brother have been selling lasers (and very good ones at that) for $99 for a good long while now. True, they required rebates, but the final prices was often $99 or less. I bought a Samsung ML-1430 laser printer probably 2-3 years ago and have been extremely pleased with its speed and output. And the toner cartridges are only $69-$79 for 2500 pages (cheaper per page than the new Dell). I don't see this making any real change in the market, except maybe even cheaper Samsung and Brother printers; if that happens I'll get another one or two.
