About time new chipsets are released!
I was beginning to wonder... Now hopefully the 6800 will come down in price... (as I use Linux and never liked ATi's bug-ridden slop drivers in Windows, I went Nvidia a long time ago and never bothered to look back. Technically superior hardwar that ATi is touted with is one thing. Making stable drivers that make proper use of the hardware is another issue; and one Nvidia is renouned for. And maybe, just maybe, the drivers reflect the hardware? ATi's technology, while hyped up to look good, may be just as crap as the drivers. Remember their original Radeon 9700 and the heatsink shim problem. Did they fix it proper? Nope. They just squished in more thermal paste. For a then-$500 card, they should be ashamed of themselves. I will NEVER go back to ATi. Never. Nvidia's got it all.)
