Am I?
".. revisionist history. The founding fathers were from different religions but there wasn't a single agnostic among them. Show me one historical document that supports your contention. I can show you many that don't. There is a great deal of history that shows the influence Religion has on our history. Our system of laws are based on the Ten Commandments. References to God are every where in government from the Supreme Court to our money.

It is you who is attempting to change history to support your views and not me. Bringing up Salem and other parts of Christian failures does not strengthen your arguement. You cannot judge a religion by the people who misinterpeted it. There are bad Christians just as there are bad secularists."

You need to read the bios on these guys. Also you can view the History Channel instead of your favorite political channel. I think it is you that is revising. Never said that religion didn't influence us. Those laws are universal. Those laws were also observed before the time of Moses. Most of them are not implemented.

Not Enforceable: 1,2,3,4,5,7,10 this is ethics
Enforceable: 6,8,9 this is morals

There are more laws than that, that were written in the constitution. Those laws were more important for our constitution. At best, they were based particially then it was expanded greatly.

I think it is you twisting the logic to backdoor Christianity into the constitution by associating it by stating it is based on it to acquire legitimacy. It isn't based on Christianity. Secularists/Atheists, when they exclude others are practicing a religion also. It is worship of the state. I am not saying this. All must be held in check. Fundamentalists just need more persuasion, thats all.

"The first known colonists were Quakers. Thanksgiving is about thanking God for the holidays. Christmas celebrates the birt of Christ. The oath you swear in court is "So Help Me God!" They don't have you put your hand on a readers digest. History and tradition are on the side of religion and not secularism."

Again you are giving too much importance to Christians in the beginning. They ran away from England to setup their own whipping post. It is nice to pray to God in your way. Now you are assuming I do not believe in a supreme being. I do not have a problem with the word God on public property or money. It has to be a universal God reference as an all inclusive. If you get rid of the black & white thought process, the terror will go away.

"As I said before I have no problems with people of other faiths even though you insist I do. Secularists are a minority only because of their numbers. They have the same rights as people of faith but they do not have more. What the constitution protects is the right to practice religion. There is no seperation of church and state even mentioned."

I believe you think the Agnostics are taking over. Who did you listen to on the tube demonizing us? All we want to do is keep the fundamentalists from overrunning the constitution with their belief system. We also do not want the Atheists to establish a Godless society. We are your friend and you don't even know it. There is a seperation of church and state. They didn't waste their time back then.

"The 1st Ammendment

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.""

I do not believe in a state religion.
I do not believe in abolishing a religion.
I do not believe in censorship.
I do not believe in a restricted press.
I do not believe in papers please.
I do not believe in silenced government critics.

By the way, when you put the Commandments in the courtroom it is sponsoring. Atheists go to far saying God on the mint is sponsoring a religion. Too bad they don't understand Atheism is a religion. They are abolishing others.

Do you get it now Clyde?

Like I said, I am your friend.
