... revisionist history. The founding fathers were from different religions but there wasn't a single agnostic among them. Show me one historical document that supports your contention. I can show you many that don't. There is a great deal of history that shows the influence Religion has on our history. Our system of laws are based on the Ten Commandments. References to God are every where in government from the Supreme Court to our money.

It is you who is attempting to change history to support your views and not me. Bringing up Salem and other parts of Christian failures does not strengthen your arguement. You cannot judge a religion by the people who misinterpeted it. There are bad Christians just as there are bad secularists.

The first known colonists were Quakers. Thanksgiving is about thanking God for the holidays. Christmas celebrates the birt of Christ. The oath you swear in court is "So Help Me God!" They don't have you put your hand on a readers digest. History and tradition are on the side of religion and not secularism.

As I said before I have no problems with people of other faiths even though you insist I do. Secularists are a minority only because of their numbers. They have the same rights as people of faith but they do not have more. What the constitution protects is the right to practice religion. There is no seperation of church and state even mentioned.

The 1st Ammendment

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

You don't have a clue or a leg to stand on!
