OSreinstall you are so wrong!
"You just decided when life begins yourself. Is this not playing God that you accuse others of."

There is a big difference in what I did and what Jim did. If I errored in my belief no one dies. If he errored in his belief someone dies. Christians do believe the soul out lives brain death. The whole concept of heaven and hell depends on it. In the case of Terry Schiavo, there were just as many experts saying she wasn't brain dead as there were saying she was.

"The constitution was written by agnostic men that happened to be raised in the Christian faith. If they went to church it was probably to keep their wives happy. They mainly drank beer on the weekend just like modern times. They knew of the problems of having a state sponsored religion."

How in the world did you come up with that? The writings of our founding fathers showed most to be very religious. And yes you can drink beer and still be a Christian. What does one have to do with the other? It is true that they did not want the government to tell them which religion to belong to but that didn't make them agnostics. They just wanted to choose their own faith.

What you secularists have to understand is that 95% of Americans claim to be religious. They use their beliefs guide their votes. Their votes elect the people that write the laws for this society.

For your information I do not have a problem with other faiths. I believe we all worship the same God except for those who choose not to believe. I don't mind secularists either but I object to their opinion getting more weight then their minority status deserves.
