OK...well I would say that true Christians are not
destroying the planet but false ones are. After all James Watt
ironically at one time in charge of this country's natural
treasures once said something to the effect that he did not see
the point in saving the natural treasures of this country for
future generations since he knew that there were not going to
be that many future generations anyway. i.e the End Times were
a coming (in his humble opinion) and there for there was not
need to save national and natural treasures for when Jesus/God
came all would be made well. These false christians aslo believe
that as the Bible says that the planet was placed under our
stewadship and there for we were free to use it as we please
(obviously I think stewardship has a different meaning but that
is another whole discussion) These false Christians are driven by
greed cause the use the Bible and their faith to justify taking
more and more in the true worship of money and the power it
gives them. Now this person who chooses to disagree with you
mght very well be a true Christian or of any number of faiths
that are out there. He/she may be very conservative in general
like of fiscally conservative and somewhat socially conservative
like he/she might not agree with gun control. Might think that
government should remain small and out of the individuals life
as much as possible. He/she might think that a government
shoud spend only what it takes in...never creating a deficit all
farily conservative views if I am correct here. The list could go
on and on and on. Does it surprise you to consider that many a
person whom considers themselves conservative in general
might have a view or three that is still considered moderate or
liberal? Eh? Can one not be an agnostic conservative? Or are
you agreeing with Howard Dean that the Republican Party has
become the party of White Christians?

Oh and you do not have to be a liberal to be unhappy with the
last election either. One only has to believe in fair and honest
elections to be at the very least disturbed by the last elections.
What with electronic voting machines made and supplied by a
man who promised and GW election victory and who's machines
had not paper trail that could be cross checked. Even "IF" you
want to lean on the side that said "nothing wrong happend" you
can not but help to see the possible if not probable problems
with such a system.
