While Intel doesn't have the Microsoft approach to a monopoly (sue the compatition out of existance or buy them) it is monopolistic in nature. Instead of using Microsofts method they choose to dominate on pure market power. If that last sentence makes any sense, not quite sure it came out the way I intended.
