Intel and Microsoft are not alike in any way shape or form
Microsoft is a predatory monopolist. Intel is not. Intel does not
manufacturer to be all Intel or no Intel. That was what gave MS
its dominance.

Intel and Apple have been working on this for 5 years. That
means they partnered and came up with a win win for both:

Intel will have to deliver CPU's that run with Mac OS X and
Windows but cannot be cloned

Intel will have to meet the prices that they offer to HP and other
large volume houses

Intel will have to meet the requirements of Apple on speed and it
may be that Apple and Intel have agreed that any OS X app MUST
run faster on a processor using Mac OS X then on a processor
using Windows, including Longhorn

Apple is a prestige customer for Intel and Apple moving to Intel
represents no threat to Windows if a dual boot is available. It
does represent a threat to Linux, which is right because profit-
making business should support profit-making businesses since
they go the same church (capitalism as opposed to socialism like
Linux).

But please don't lower Intel to MS levels of ethics.
