Win9x wasn't the crappiest of the crop. WinME has that honour. Even M$ was ashamed that they released that mess.

Here's the other question unanswered ... WHO said Apple is going to use Pentiums? What about Intel's big investment in Itanium ... the processor that went nowhere after some big $$ spent in R&D? Maybe Intel's going to offload the Itanic on Apple? THAT makes more sense to me than Apple Pentiums. Because going that route, ANY x86 pentium will be able to load and run OSX ... something Apple obviously does NOT want to happen ... since they make their coin on hardware sales. Think about it.
