Intel deal may mean end to OS 9 support

So what?: Windows 2000 was released what? Like 6 years ago!! And Microsoft intends support for it until 2010, why can't Apple do the same with OS9? Many users still use Win9x even though is the crappiest of the crop of M$ OSes.
