PC milestone--notebooks outsell desktops: Hi there All--In recent times we've seen the death of the crt screen, the demise of the floppy, broadband overtaking dial up and now laptops overtaking desk tops

how soon till monochrome laser printers out sell pure inkjet printer (not MFDs) to home users?

In truth, how often is color not justified? You might print an email, a letter or a web page. In the main none of these warant color, because it is mainly text that is important. Why squander the extra expence on an substandard, when a reasonable laser printer can be bought for $200? Toner costs twice that of an inkjet cartridge, but is a lot bigger.
